About us

 Who we are

The CAA e.V. is a non-profit, community-oriented organization based in Dortmund, dedicated to promoting integration, cultural development, solidarity, and international cooperation. As a bridge between cultures, we support individuals and communities in navigating life in Germany while simultaneously strengthening their connection to their cultural roots.

The CAA e.V. stands for community, empowerment, and impactful engagement. We bring people together, promote cultural understanding, and support non-profit projects that improve lives – both locally in Germany and internationally in Cameroon.

Our mission

The CAA e.V. is committed to supporting Cameroonians arriving in Germany with their integration and strengthening their cultural identity in a new social environment. Our mission is to accompany newcomers through the challenges of settling in – whether in the areas of language, bureaucratic matters, education, or employment – while fostering a sense of belonging and community.

We believe that cultural identity is a source of strength. Through cultural promotion, dialogue, and shared experiences, we make Cameroonian heritage visible in German society and encourage enriching exchanges between people of different backgrounds. This helps to create understanding, respect, and lasting connections.

Solidarity is a central component of our work. We support people in social or economic distress by connecting them with resources, mentors, and community networks. Our goal is to create opportunities that empower individuals to develop personally, participate in social life, and realize their potential.

Our mission also extends beyond Germany. We are committed to charitable initiatives in Cameroon, focusing on education, health, and ecological sustainability. Through international collaboration, we aim to improve living conditions and strengthen communities in sustainable and impactful ways.
